This pueblo is well-known by its colorful balconies decorated with flowers, reason why it is called “America’s Colonial Garden”. In front of the central plaza there is definitively one of the most beautiful parks of Antioquia. It is in this town where Juanes was born and sang his first tunes.

Since recent years, Carolina del Príncipe has been moving from a traditional agrarian past to a very attractive tourist destination thanks to its marvelous natural settings such as the Troneras and Miraflores dams.
